Former Australian Captain Team captain Ricky Ponting and wife Rianna on Thursday celebrated the birth of their second child in Sydney.
Ponting, who flew home to Australia following his team’s win in the first Test over Sri Lanka at Galle (Sri Lanka), chose to miss the second Test in Kandy to be with his wife for the birth of their child.
Ricky Ponting has endorsed the move to include Australian captain Michael Clarke in the selection panel, saying it will lead to better communication between the players and the selectors.
Ponting claimed that the communication breakdowns that affected players as Australia tumbled down the Test rankings could have been avoided if the captain had been a selector.Read More
