Stubborn Pathologist

Where Indian media didnt leave any stone un-tunred in defaming Pakistan and torturing Pakistani players, Indian pathologist, the so-called Dr. Ere Seshaiah, the “renowned” pathologist, who conducted the post mortem, defended his stance that Bob Woolmer was murdered.

Former England Test batsman Bob Woolmer, 58, died on March 18, the day after 1992 world champion Pakistan were out played by the minnows Ireland. There were lots of apprehensions and speculations in the air since then.

Though Indian media has taken a U-turn and supporting the theory of a natural death along with Jamaican police, Dr. Ere Seshaiah is still hell bent on his findings. He said,” I am sticing to my findings. He was murdered. Bob Woolmer is not the first for me, I have been doing autopsies in Jamaica since 1995.”

Now Jamaican authorities has got a moral duty to fullfil. If they are really feeling ashamed over the fiasco they created during and after the world cup, they should wipe that blot out by taking some investigative steps in true directions. These steps include checking the authenticity of the degree of Dr. Ere Seshaiah. There might be some surprises out there. Then they question him about why Dr. Ere Seshaiah dared to try to defame the Jamaican nation. Then Jamaicans really ought to dismiss and expel this so-called doctor.
