In a rare display of showing synchronization with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the standing committe of senate for sports have categorically supported the stance of PCB in regard of Indian Cricket League (ICL), and have said that ICL is all about intrigue and money, and players should first think about the country’s pride.

Chairman of standing committee Rai Aziz ullah Khan along with chairman PCB Dr. Nasim Ashraf and other members and and officials of both sides have unanimously said that ICL is anti-Pakistan and anti-game, and should be discouraged at every forum. Standing committee is of the opinion that players got their recognition at the international level from the country, and now when they have become renowned the world over due to Pakistan, its highly immoral and unethical that they are prefering money over the national team.

Chairman PCB also showed his disgust over the decision of some players joining the ICL and said that ICL is evil because it bars the players from playing for their country, if the matches of ICL and the country are being played at the same time. He also said that ICL is using nefarious tactics to lure the players and due to these evil tacts, the good name of the game is getting ridiculed all over the world.

Dr. Nasim Ashraf said that he has a firm resolve to save the team’s and country’s interest from the tantacles of ICL. He said that he really salutes the players who have opted to play for the team, despite of huge monetary offers and other sort of attractions. He also said that PCB is trying best to work for the benefit of the players and also has given a special hefty bonus to all the players who havent joined the ICL.

Chairman PCB has tried his best to bring back the disgruntled players; Yousuf, Imran and Razzaq, but in vain. PCB is focussing more on Yousuf and Imran. Razzaq is not that much desired and Inzamam is a forgotten story. But Yousuf and Imran Farhat are also not heeding the offers of PCB. It would be an idea to involve the chairman of standing committee to facilitate a reconciliation between PCB and the players. Chairman standing committee could use senator Enwer Baig for this purpose.
