The chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board, Dr. Nasim Ashraf must not be a very happy man, he he is getting himself cornered by many of his enemies, and he has also developed a knack of inviting many controversies and troubles simultaneously for him, and the sacking of Saleem Altaf was one of those bloopers at the wrong time.

Now, Majid Khan another veteran Pakistani cricketer has also come forward to blast at the chairman PCB. According to the media reports, cricket icon Majid Khan has demanded of the Patron of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) President Pervez Musharraf to remove Dr Nasim Ashraf for his financial irregularities in the Board and the manner in which he sacked former Test cricketer Saleem Altaf.

Majid Khan held a press conference and he was highly critical of the treatment meted out to his former Test colleague Saleem Altaf and called upon Nasim Ashraf that if he had left a little bit of decency in him he should quit after the just decision of the Lahore High Court’s Judge Justice Ali Akbar Qureshi in restoring Saleem on his job, Majid told the journalists.

Majid Khan is a close relative of Imran Khan, the cricketer-turned-politician and the former skipper of that Pakistani team who won the world cup in 1992. Imran Khan has not only demanded the sacking of Dr. Nasim Ashraf but he is also considered one of the very bitter rivals of the Patron of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) President Pervez Musharraf, and he demands sacking of both at once.
