Lawson Gets Life

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to go on with the Geoff Lawson, the Australian coach with the international Pakistani Cricket team, but he has been warned by PCB to improve his performance and to earn his keep, as still Lawson has failed to accomplish anything.

PCB chairman Ijaz Butt is not too happy with the coach and he wanted to say him good bye, but then the treasury of PCB told him that the contract of the Lawson is very cleverly written and if PCB tries to get rid of him in the midway, they would have to pay a very hefty ugly sum, which PCB cannot afford right now.

PCB top man said that, “His is a complicated contract and if we release him right now, the PCB has to pay a very heavy price for it. PCB does not have enough financial resources to meet the terms and condition of that contract at this point in time, but we would get rid of him soon, except if he performs.”

That and PCB chairman also must keep a strict eye on the rogue players in the team.
