ICL: Indian Cricket League

Inzamam Needs More Money

In 2007, and in 2006 and before Pakistani cricket team didn’t win any significant tournament at home or abroad. Their unconvincing streak which started with the captaincy of bygone Inzamam-ul-Haq is still very much in attendance even when he has gone for good 10 months or so.

After an ignominious departure of Inzi from the team, he started creating fissures among the team and managed to lure Abdul Razzaq, Imran Farhat, Mohammad Yousuf, Azhar Mehmood, Taufeeq Umar, and Bashir Ahmad towards the Indian Cricket League (ICL), which he had signed himself. Though PCB managed to lure back Mohammad Yousuf with more money, rest of the players remained with ICL and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) banned them from playing the Pakistani domestic cricket.

Inzamam is now itching to create more problems for PCB. He initially thought that perhaps that PCB would bend on it knees and ask for his comeback which never came. He now wants to collect some changing money from the domestic cricket as he is seeing no future in the ICL after performing worst in India in ICL. In a funny statement Inzi said that PCB is banning him from the domestic cricket to make Indian board happy. What a farce. Inzamam is as dumb as he was during his uncelebrated captaincy.

In a joint press conference all these ICL players have threatened to PCB that they would sue PCB, and they will forcefully play the domestic cricket from their own departments. A new fun is in the offing for sure.
