Indian team was a hot favourite in the 2007 cricket world cup in West Indies, but they were one of the most spectacular failure in that mega event. Indian team is a very strange charade.
The current Indian team consists of some of the best players in the world. The current Indian squad is perhaps the most talented one ever in the history of Indian cricket. Indian team contains worlds top batsmen, as well as very fine fast bowlers, along with magician spinners, great wicket keeper batsman, and many mercurial fielders.
World’s top batsman, the little master, the century-machine Sachin Tendulkar spearheads the Indian batting, and he clicks in almost every match. He has scored most runs in ODIs and he has got most centuries in the format of game. He is supported by the iron-clad Rahul Dravid, stylish Sourav Ganguly, young Gautam Gambhir, solid Luxman, dependable Yuvraj and also the ultra-aggressive Mahendira Singh Dhoni.
Bowling department has also got very talented bowlers. Indian has never got such a fast bowlers as it has got now. Zaheer Khan, Irfan Pathan, Munaf Patel, SreeSanth, Ajit Agarkar have got so much talent, aggression, calculation and stength of mind. The spin facet of team India isnt bad either, rather it is world class. Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh are one of first rate spinners, who have got lots of variety and their sting is lethal in the test as well as ODI matches.
In the recent years the professionalism in Indian team has increased dramatically. Its biggest proof is their fielding. The fitness level of their players (ok lets leave Powar) seems very paragon in the field. Mohamad Kaif, Yuvraj, and almost all the players look committed to catch or stop the white leather at any cost.
But they why the falter in any crunch match and tournament? I don’t understand it.
