One thing is for sure, at least in Pakistan, that every cricket-related personality which is not benefiting from PCB is with Indian Cricket League, and want to extract any and every possible advantage from it. Some former players like Moin Khan have become the agent of ICL, and their duty include to entice the current players with lots and lots of money.

Former PCB official including the former chairmen are not behind. Former PCB chairman Arif Ali Abbassi has invited ICL to conduct its matches in the Arabian Sea country club, which is one of most plush joints in the megapolis. Arif Ali Abbassi is the chief executive of the Arabian Sea Country club, which hosts is near the beach and hosts magnificent cricket ground, five star hotel, world-class gym and other luxury facilities.

Arif Ali Abbassi has made it public that his club has presented their suggestion to Kapil Dev & co to host ICL matches in Karachi. He said that he only wants the promotion of the game and wants to hold the matches regardless of boundaries. According to him, ICL matches should be played world over. Arif, who has held many positions previously in the board feels very comfortable with the league and says that there is no harm in it, and ICL has also shown a great delight over this suggestion from his club, but nothing is final yet.

In his briefing he was sure that ICL would approve his suggestion, and in the very near future, his club would host the ICL matches. He said that he has also devised a plan regarding the modus operandi of how ICL would be arranged in the port city.

Many other board officials, who are no longer with the board has aired their opinion that PCB shouldn’t be sanctioning the players over this issue, and if a player is getting money and the game is being promoted then PCB shouldnt block the way. Many board officials and former players have also been reported to present their services to ICL.

There is another suggestion that all the boards and ICL should sit around a table and sort the matter out in a cordial and pleasant way, and all should just think about the benefit of game and the players. But PCB is adamant and Dr. Nasim Ashraf, who has just returned from America has once again said that PCB would not allow any player to play in the ICL and would take stern action and Inzi, the former Pakistani captain has said that he would go to court, if PCB puts a ban upon the players. Game is on and hot.
