International Cricket Council (ICC) has once again in action, and as soon as the name of Pakistan has come forth, ICC is on it’s toes and have shown rare agility.

ICC’s Anti-Corruption and Security Unit (ACSU) Officer Alan Peacock had flown down to Lahore to talk to Shoaib Akhtar, the Rawalpindi Express, after the wayward speedster told some media persons in a television interview that he was offered suit case full of money several times to fix or under-perform in matches during the tours of India and South Africa.

Shoaib Akhtar has said that former Pakistani Captain Inzamam-ul-Haq and wicket-keeper Moin Khan had offered him money for the match fixing. The Senate Committee on Sports has now summoned both the formers players along with the fast bowler.

ICC is sniffing some very bad smell once again from the Pakistani camp, and he is after Shoaib and other players. Pakistani cricket is already in bedlam and this new crisis would give it a very bad name.
