Sehwag has taken off the ICC upset with Sehwag over jersey number 44 from his jersey for a while now.
It wasn’t just Virender Sehwag’s scintillating 175 against Bangladesh that was the talking point on Saturday.

The other number, non-number actually, that was on some lips was the one that wasn’t printed on Sehwag’s India jersey.

Meanwhile, The International Cricket Council has issued the Indian batsman a warning referring to its guidelines which state that a batsman must wear a numbered jersey on the field.

Sehwag has taken off the number 44 from his jersey for a while now. The rest of the Indian team does wear jerseys with numbers on them. It’s a superstition that Viru has, he’s in better touch when he’s playing without a numbered jersey apparently.
