Egg Whipping Indians

The feature (or problem, if you are like that) with Indian (and Pakistanis for that matter) cricketers is that they are monsters on flat pitches against minnows, but become eggs themselves in front of teams like Australia and South Africa. There has been no lack of big names in India, but their historical performance over the years proves this concept.

Once again, after getting a life-time thrashing in the world cup, Indian returned back with a massive runs mountain of 610 in the first innings of 2nd test match. Indian batsmen displayed a majestic performance with the bat, and they established a new record. The un-precedented record is that their first four batsmen scored a century. Both the openers, one down and two down scored hundreds in a spectacular way.

Bangladeshi bowlers just couldnt take it. Their soft bowling didnt bother at all the might and talent of Indian batsmen, who played with a passion, took their time, and scored an Everest. Danish Karthik, Waseem Jaffar, Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar scored the centuries, whereas Mahindra Singh Dhoni hit an aggressive fifty with respect to his natural flair.

Danish Karthik was caught by Habibul Bashir on the ball of Mushrafe Murtaza after scoring 129 run on 12 balls with the help of 16 scintillating fours. Wasim Jaffar was retired hurt after managed to get 138. Indian skipper, the Mr. Dependable, Rahul Dravid also made 129 runs, and was caught by Javed Umer on the delivery of Mohammad Rafique. Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar scored yet another century of 122 runs and remained unbeaten, while Ganguly was a failure with just 15 runs, but Dhoni remained there with 51 runs.
