The reputation of the new chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board is good and he is proving that by his actions. He has recently meetings with the Capitan of the team, with team management and other stakeholders and he intends to meet up with the sports scribes and the senior players and he wants to keep it transparent and with an open ears and hearts to have a concerted effort to pull the country out of this crisis.

Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ijaz Butt has now included the captain’s point of view in the team selection and he has given the Capitan to challenge the selection committee, but in the board meetings. This becomes more important due to the upcoming series with the West Indies.

Pakistan plays three One-day Internationals against the West Indies in Abu Dhabi from November 12 to 16 with the West Indies Cricket Board also considering a request to play two Test matches at the same venue.

That is why Pakistan’s newly appointed chief selector Saleem Jaffer has made it clear that players with poor fitness records would not be shown any leniency during his tenure. Things looks good from the new start.
