I very much doubt that the ICC will switch the venues. They did not do it for England in the 2003 World Cup and they had the British Government behind them. Put simply the ICC will not risk further upseting the Indian Cricket Board and will not care if this means treating cricketing minnows Canada with contempt. The ICC originally promised that all cricketers at the World Cup would be given visas, but they are now procrastinating and moaning that they are in an awkward position. Keeping your word can be awkward, but it would still be the right thing to do. Come on ICC, sort this out!
