The team who inspires everyone is the Australian side. They have set new standards in every facet of game. Their professionalism is exemplary, their skill is legendary. They have packed their side with specialists, who know their knobs. Serial Winners of cricket world cup, they have been marvelous in both form of the game for so many years now. Their colors have become the colors of victory and sublime. They look forward to repeat their extravaganza feat again in 2007 on the Carribean fields.

Starting from Mathew Hayden and Adam Gilchrist, through brilliant Ricky Pointing, Michael Hussey, Andrew Symonds and Michael Clarke to Shane Watson and Glenn McGrath, Team Australia is as redoubtable as any monster right out of Greek Mythologies.

Other stars in the Australian team include Nathan Bracken, Brad Haddin (Wk), Brad Hodge, Simon Katich and Brad Hogg.

Though, Australian fans are tad bit concerned about their aging players like McGrath, Hayden and Gilchrist, they have full confidence in their vitality and power to turn any game on its head. Injury of Bret Less has done considerable damage to Aussie power, but the fire-fury of McGrath, Shane Watson, Shaun Tait and Mitchell Johnson has the ability to suppress any agitation.

Some cricket pundits are implying that the young and slightly inexperienced Australian team might not perform that fantastically as they did in past due to the absence of stalwarts like Shane Warne, Justin Langer and Damien Martyn, but Aussie team has enough potential to retain the trophy on merit.
